As a Biologics Account Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of generating clinical demand for their Respiratory Biologics brands within key accounts. Your role will involve identifying business opportunities, presenting value propositions that align with stakeholder needs, and recommending solutions to drive and develop business.
You’ll build strategic relationships with the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) and collaborate effectively with cross-functional field teams to enhance access to biologics in accordance with the account plan.
Accountabilities Include:
Delivering sales targets for allocated brands
Demonstrating exemplary account management and operational excellence
Execute and contribute to the development of business plans, identify potential barriers to prescribing, and work with the National Biologics Business Lead and relevant stakeholders to implement aligned action plans
Lead formulary adoption and access for brands
Manage budgets within specified limits and ensure homecare utilization for brand support
Your suitability for the role will be defined by:
ABPI qualified
Significant recent Secondary care sales experience
Track record of engaging key stakeholders in complex clinical environments, e.g., mid and senior level healthcare professionals, key accounts and the medical community
Proven track record in influencing the stakeholder decision-making process in an ecosystem with multiple influential players / decision makers, with proven track record of creating value
Demonstrable ability to negotiate at business-to-business level
Experience with High-Cost Specialist Medicines (specialised commissioning)
Proven track record of launching secondary care medicine/worked in an environment with rapidly shifting clinical and treatment paradigms
