Evolve has partnered with a leading Pharmaceutical Ophthalmology organisation who are looking for a Commercial Capability & Learning Specialist to drive sales effectiveness, develop talent and deliver engaging learning experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate trainer, coach or people manager to make a real impact by building capability and fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.

This is a full-time, permanent, field-based position, with occasional office-based working in Staffordshire.

Ideal Requirements for the Commercial Capability and Learning Specialist

• Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred, with a strong understanding of the commercial and sales environment.
• Inspire and Engage Through Learning – Use your strong facilitation and presentation skills to deliver engaging learning experiences that make a genuine impact on people’s performance and development.
• CIPD, coaching, learning and development, or recognised professional training qualifications would be advantageous.
• Bring Learning to Life Across Different Environments – Deliver engaging learning experiences both virtually and face-to-face, while using your organisational skills and learning systems expertise to ensure programmes run smoothly and effectively.

Role Responsibilities for the Commercial Capability and Learning Specialist

• Shape Commercial Capability & Sales Performance – Deliver engaging training that strengthens sales effectiveness and commercial capability, while using coaching, field observations and feedback to help colleagues turn learning into real-world performance.
• Develop & Coach Sales Leaders – Partner with the Head of Sales to deliver impactful Sales Manager development programmes, helping leaders strengthen their coaching, communication and performance management skills.
• Champion a Culture of Continuous Learning – Lead engaging bite-size learning sessions that build skills in communication, influencing, presentation and personal effectiveness, while inspiring colleagues to take ownership of their ongoing development.
• Unlock Talent & Career Potential – Support Development Centres and Personal Development Plans, helping employees identify their strengths, build new capabilities and create meaningful development pathways that support their career progression.
