Key Account Manager Full Time

Our client is seeking a motivated, hard-working and driven Key Account Manager to join their successful sales team and promote a range of market leading products in the Ophthalmology market. This will cover the Yorkshire and North East territory.

This is an exciting new opportunity to work for and be a key team player in the dry eye market within this territory.

Ideal Requirements:

·         Previous success in pharmaceutical sales

·         Awareness of the NHS policies and structures

·         Be able to work independently and take ownership of results

·         Experienced in securing formulary inclusions

·         ABPI Qualified

Role Requirements:

·         Develop and maintain good relationships with key customers

·         Conduct effective and challenging customer interactions

·         Maintain and complete accurate customer records

·         Create business plans for the area

·         Take ownership of understanding the NHS environment

·         Acquire new formularies

·         Produce a clear and effective stakeholder map

Role Specific Competencies:

·         Have a positive “can do” attitude

·         Excellent selling and negotiating skills

·         Good Active listening skills

·         Strong interpersonal skills
