Pharmacist Full Time

Evolve is recruiting for a brand new opportunity to join a leading global healthcare organisation as a Pharmacist.

Our client is currently in search of a dedicated Pharmacist to join their well-staffed team at their high performing distribution centre in Northampton.

The role will involve the checking of all prescriptions and orders before they are dispatched to patients in their homes. This is a non-patient facing position.

This is a full time position on the night shift, working Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am (Weekly shift allowance provided).

Salary and Package:

• Up to £55,000 pa DOE + Weekly night shift allowance provided on top of basic salary
• Benefits include: 5% Bonus, Pension scheme, Life Assurance, Home protection, and Healthcare

Ideal Requirements for the Pharmacist

• GPhC registered Pharmacist
• Master’s degree in pharmacy (MPharm)
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Expert knowledge of good dispensing and distribution practice.
• Ability to deal with unpredictable workload and work well under pressure.

Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist

• Ensure all POM & P medicines are 100% checked for accuracy in product code, product description, batch, expiry date and quantity required.
• Ensure that all prescriptions are clinically screened and processed.
• Ensure all errors are recorded on designated forms and corrected.
• Ensure that all FMD requirements are met at point of receiving stock, dispensing and returns.
