Title: Pharmaceutical Alliance Management Director
Location: West London Head Office (3 days per week)

Evolve are recruiting for a global pharmaceutical organisation in need of an experienced individual to take on a new challenge in their BD team. This role will be responsible for managing all activity within the Alliance Management Group covering all aspects of partnership management from the late stage of deal activity, through integration, alliance setup, ongoing alliance management, and exit.
You will have experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry.
Ideally located within an hour of head office in West London.
Educated to degree level in a Life Science subject.
Good track record in Pharmaceutical Alliance Management, from both a commercial and technical perspective.
Experience of in-licence, out-licence and distribution partnerships.
Transactional experience is essential.
Other European language skills is highly advantageous.
Proven line management experience.
Responsible for leading on Partner relationship management, both directly and indirectly.
Provide effective leadership on planning and management of the operational aspects of allocated alliances, including coordinating the internal team, ensuring alliance effectiveness, appropriate communications, coordination of activities, anticipating issues, facilitating conflict resolution, managing escalation, solving business problems and negotiating with the partner on on-going agreements.
Mentoring of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes are achieved for partnerships.
Responsible for re-negotiation of existing deals, contractual amendments and renewals.
Responsible for the sales forecasting and revenue generation from those partnerships falling under the remit of the role, and oversight of all partner performance for sales, profitability, forecasting, royalty and milestone payments.
Management of all post-deal partnering activity covering Integration and Alliance Management/Regional Partnerships.
Working closely with other functional senior managers to ensure alignment on Alliance team requirements.
Working with Alliance Management and Regional Partnerships to ensure that appropriate joint and cross functional project teams are established.
Working closely with Integration Project Management to develop robust processes that ensure successful and timely integration of all partnering projects.
Engaging with the wider organisation to ensure Lessons Learned are captured and implemented for future projects.
Ensuring that the partnership activities are appropriately managed, both in-licensing and out-licensing, and that the organisation implements appropriate processes to support partnering activity.
